The customer wanted a flat low maintenance garden in Perton, Wolverhampton.
Remove all the shrubs to create a blank garden to work with.
Shape up the trees and cut the hawthorn hedge row along the perimeter.
Here comes the digger!! We created a large flat area by digging out the bottom of the garden and putting a railway sleeper retaining wall in.
Grade the whole garden with the digger ready for the hardcore.
Railway sleeper wall set into concrete and a level garden. All ready for the hardcore.
Wheel barrow 40 ton of MOT hardcore into the garden to create a good foundation.
Flatten the whole area ready for the slabs and grass.
Looking good, just need that patio.

Patio all finished, what a difference 2 weeks work makes.
Chip bark has been laid at the bottom of the garden for the children area.
Artificial grass been set out.
Artificial grass all laid out, just got to wait for the joins to set now. Even the suns came out on the last day.
In goes the railway sleepers to provide the step and hold the ground back.
Turfed and ready to enjoy.
